Thank you so much, Asher Roberts. I am currently studying calculus for the first time, and this really helps as I go through each example in the textbook. I am sincerely grateful and appreciate your work explaining us these concepts. You are a true teacher, thank you so much for your time explaining and compiling these video lessons. Thank you so much!
Such a valuable resource this has been - thank you so much for providing these videos.
Thanks a lot, I found this very help full. Going through through the examples was a big help. :)
Amazingly good thank you
Thanks a lot! Very helpful
I can’t find the notes

Why are u dying ?
Your videos are literally lifesavers. Thank you so much for making these.
17:15 I think there is a mistake
It’s missing the negative sign of 3x^2 y^4
love this guy , i started studying for uni on my own because i heard a lot of people failed this module ,and this has been such a huge help so far , like i was out here trying to make sense of this stuff by myself , i was so lost
10:00 I think you made a small mistake there, you said x^3, but wrote x^2
I fw u bro
where is the solution of last example?
All I see you do is nothing but pretty much re-read and re-solve the working of howard anotons book without explaining any logic or explanation. I wasted 31 minutes of my life in studying what I couldve in 15 minutes. Atleast explain with examples or cover depth.
How do you know how long or where the vector arrow goes? 3:38
Its been a month but (x,y) is the point and <x,y> is the vector. For example if we write P(1,0) function wil turn this point to the vector V<0,1>. We start from the point we give, in this case our point is P(1,0). For the vector we just draw the vector. Our vector is V<0,1> so from the point P, we add this vector to the point. Lets write a new point Q. P+V=Q which is Q(1+0,0+1). Q is our destination from P. you just connect these points, P & Q. You dont accually need this calculation. If vector says <0,1> just draw one up
At 18:50 how do we know that the diagonalized matrix is just the eigenvalues on the diagonal?
Theorem 5.2.1 proves that AP=PD, where D is the matrix with eigenvalues along the diagonal. Multiplying both sides by P^{-1} then gives P^{-1}AP=D.
@@asherroberts Thank you very much. You are doing God's work. I just received my final grade for my linear algebra class and i got an A. My only studying resource was your youtube videos and practice questions!!

You put lambda 2 as lambda 3, don’t know if it matters
thanks from radcliffe
is your channel monetized? I thought that by including just a tiny extract of a book you would get hit by copyright!
I haven't been able to find the notes for these lectures on your site. Could you help me? Love these videos. They are so helpful.
They are on the videos pages.
THANK YOU!!
Applied maths project 2025 brought me here

using this vid to study this chapter cuz im so lost lmao. fk online classes.

💯💯
Thank you so much for this video
thanks for this series man. You help a lot of students taking this course more than you know. All the best
Bro thank you I’m planning to learn calculus next summer and you’re going to help me so much IM SO GRATEFUL TOWARDS U MAKING THIS SERIES TANK U SO MUCH 😭😭😭
Thank you Asher, I got a 90% on my first linear algebra midterms because of your videos
love u sir u are life sever
yo, thank you for being a goat. these videos are fantastic at explaining everything that I can't make out when im reading the textbook.
26:33 but the denominator does not increase faster than the numerator?
for example 5, why did you only investigate the values that approached 0 when x > 0 instead of doing x < 0 as well? I understand negative and positive does not matter for cosine functions, however there is an x^3 that changes depending on whether or not x is negative. I tested what the limits approached for x and the negative counterpart, when far from 0 the values are different, however when approaching close to 0 the values are the same whether or not x is negative. However, they are still not the same, is there a reason you did not explore both sides?
maybe it is because the value of x^3 when there is a really small number would just get exponentially smaller to the point it doesnt make a significant change to cos5x/10000?
@@vontellerpingham4676 You should really check values for x < 0 as well, but the book does not do so for this problem. Presumably, Stewart just wanted to stress the idea that sometimes tables can be misleading when trying to determine limits, and felt that this was sufficient to illustrate that.
most useful video I've seen yet!
goat!!!! i might have a smaller chance of failing calc now. thanks bro
amazing vids
I am shook that I didn't find this page sooner! 😭 I will be repeating calc 2 because my professor isn't the best but I am definitely going to go through your videos! They are so helpful!!
can't thankyou enough, this means a lot for me as a student
Disappointing video

Why you don't upload exercise questions pls upload
Thank you so much Asher!
Great video as always, you have singlehandedly saved my calculus grades Also, just wanted to say 10:46 The Z coordinate should be -3, not 3, but I think its just a minor mistake
Oops, good catch.
Can we not use the substitution method to solve these systems of linear equations?
Please tell me name of book you are following
